About Us

My name is Mary and I have always had a passion for serving the community. I always knew I wanted to help people so I decided to go to school for nursing and I became a Registered Nurse at 23 years old. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in December of 2014 and I earned a Master’s degree in nursing leadership in April of 2017. I am an entrepreneur at heart so I had a burning desire to do more. I struggled to find a leadership position in healthcare so after being over looked and told no time and time again, I created my own lane in which Lady Scott Hair Co was born. 

 

“Lady Scott” is an expression of who I am. A humbled mild mannered lady with a sweet spirit. As a child, I loved to play in my grandmothers wigs, suits and makeup and it seamed time follow me I to adulthood. I love the beauty industry and I use to want to be a model. I learned how to do makeup and install lace frontal wigs from YouTube. I practiced installing wigs on myself and eventually I got good enough to market my work. People loved it and before I knew it I was completely booked out for an entire month in advance. 100% self taught hair and makeup artist.
